Renting a property from Glocal
Thank you for contacting Glocal Residential to rent a property. When the letting has been successfully agreed with the landlord we will require immediately a non-refundable administration fee payable to Glocal Residential to begin the administration and reference process.
A charge of £150 is payable where one applicant (tenant) is named on the tenancy (going to live in the property) and where there is to be more than one applicant (tenant) on the tenancy (going to live in the property), a charge of £50 is payable per applicant.
What we need from all applicants:
In order for your application to be processed we use an independent reference agency LetsXL we will need you and any other individual whose name will appear on the Tenancy Agreement to complete and sign the LetsXL application form immediately before the application process can begin.
We will need in addition to the completed LetsXL application the following:
Proof of Identification Passport/Driving licence
Proof of current address e.g. utility bills, council tax
Proof of current bank account e.g. bank statement
Employers reference if you are working
School/university letter confirming you are full time students if you are studying
NB: We will notify you when the results of your application have been processed and not before.
Once we notify you of the pass of the credit check. Deposit must be paid in full within 3 working days otherwise the property will be released back to the market. 6 weeks deposit will be required for working applicants, 8 weeks deposit for other applicants.
Handover
We will notify you of the property handover date and we will then require one month rent in advance plus a deposit which is equal to 6 weeks rent(deposit must be paid in full within 3 days after passing credit check otherwise the property will be released back to the market. Please note that the handover date is subject to change.
Payment
All payment can be made by UK debit card, bank transfer, cash and credit card payment a 3.2% surcharge will apply.
